Joos ‘DOES’ van Barneveld is an international, multidisciplinary artist known for his attention to detail and his colour work.

Rooted in the art of graffiti, lettering is DOES’ first love. He argues that the different styles of lettering in graffiti are a reflection of the personalities of the graffiti artists.
The letters D, O, E and S are at the base of each of his drawings but through an explosion of colours and shapes, the letters fade away little by little, only the emotion remains.

Over the years, DOES’ work has diversified with drawings, engravings, murals and illustrative canvases. Whatever the medium, his work breathes exuberance – brilliant, dynamic and full of energy.
