Guest of our Festival Underground Effect at the 6th edition in 2020, Gera 1 is a visual artist born in Athens who started as a letterer artist in 2009. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in the Greek capital and also studied graphic design and applied arts. He takes part in various exhibitions such as “Father and sons of Banksy” at the Kultur Späti in Berlin. He is also doing his first Solo Show at the Question Mark Gallery in Milan, Italy. He can be found at various festivals such as the Meeting of Styles, Step in the Arena, Urban Giant or Artwalk. . His work focuses on glitch, that chromatic aberration that makes you lose sight of the dimension you are in. He creates realistic portraits mixed with abstract forms that coexist in a space full of lines and colours with strong contrasts.
