Rodriguez Piet Self-taught artist, having played pencil all his life, Piet Rodriguez discovered his passion for painting in 2012. After studying in hotel and restaurant business, he turned to advertising, which caught his attention with its creative aspect.

Towards the end of his studies, an exhibition of amateur painting gave him the desire to take a canvas and try it out for himself. It is love at first sight. He then launches into realistic portraiture and other compositions, between surrealism and symbolism. Working mainly in black and white, light becomes the key to bring out the soul of the subjects he paints.

Greco-Roman sculptures soon became his favourite subject. Colour will only come 5 years later and once again allow him to discover new horizons.

At the end of 2015, the Propaganza collective introduced him to spray painting and the world of street art. A new technique, new supports and an opening to the world that classical painting on canvas could not offer him.
