She has been drawing since her early childhood and at the age of 6 she felt that painting would be a way to express herself.
After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, she prepares a Master’s degree in the restoration of painted paintings. A major trigger occurred when she became aware of the words that one of her professors had spoken to the whole class: “Among you there are future restorers of paintings, but if you have the soul of an artist in you, you cannot become a restorer”. Sandrot suddenly realised that she did not want to restore the works of others. She wanted her own works to be restored one day!
Since then, she has never stopped painting.

Sandrot, an artist committed to the animal cause

Today, his artistic universe is mainly animal. Paintings of felines, gorillas, wolves, parrots, horses, bulls, rhinoceroses, in a word, contemporary animal paintings rich in colour and detail are his speciality. Even if she does not neglect portraits and a few detours on sometimes surprising themes.

Sandrot describes his works as “wild”. She likes painting on large canvases. But also sometimes on walls: in addition to her paintings on wood, metal, canvas, or paper, she creates giant murals in the tradition of street art or urban art.

A multicoloured artist, his creations are borrowed from a particular style that characterises his work. There are those runners, so particular, which bring a part of her soul to the subject. There is also a very sharp work on the relief which adds an incomparable wild and structured side. There are also the bright and contrasting colours that the artist combines with accuracy. Above all, there are those glances that catch you, disturb you, and never let you go!

Sandrot paints his contemporary art paintings by hand and with a knife and reserves them for exhibitions in galleries, for art fairs, for private individuals, companies and communities.

Look at his paintings and you will see the strength, the power, the emotion, with which Sandrot impregnates his creations to make them unique and original.
